Social stems from experience. Previously the Lead Planner of Flock Events, I worked many events where I just wanted something different. Better service, unique product, a smoother bar catering for my clients. Social is the culmination of my event coordination roots, my desire to improve the offering in Hawke’s Bay, and a strong knowledge of customer service.

I am a mother to beautiful 4-year old Ellie. With previous customer service and executive roles in the corporate world, I was approached for a job with Flock Events in 2021. Launched into the crazy and all-encompassing world of events, I became a Lead Planner in late 2021, coordinating and planning events over busy seasons. Knowing the power of a good run-sheet and having the ability to work under pressure, Social is an extension of the expertise I carry with me.

Social is the service that Hawke’s Bay craves. Black-tie high-end catering, yet with the ability to turn up to someone's backyard and offer the same level of service. I love the variety, the people I meet and the thrill of bringing together a seamless event. Now with my own brand of hire and service, I aim to have my clients enjoy the process from their first email, to the close of the bar.
